Kawasaki has major problems now imo. Vanguard is not a real briggs. It is branded as a briggs and stratton, but is made by some Japanese company (I don't know the specifics), but is not a briggs and stratton. The only Kawasaki that I ever liked was the FC420V. Had one last over 20 years and probably 10k hours (no hour meter).
