There is power to dash switchs for jake and cruise. Power to the clutch sensor. Clutch sensor was tested and checked out OK.0. Mar 9, 2010. 0. No, a Jacobs brake (compression brake) only opens one exhaust valve. If you look in the pic, the red circle shows the valve that releases compression when the brake is activated. Hi all, recently picked up a 1999 Kenworth T600 with a 12.7 Detroit and a 10 Speed. Previous owner told me that he thought I needed some sort of module to get the jakes, cruise and high idle to work. Most everything else on the truck works great except the fuel gauge (which I'll also address soon).
