Slash 2wd gearing. I stuck with the same gearing on mine. The most important thing for me was getting new tires. It would just spin the stock Traxxas ones at our local outdoor track, so I got some proline gladiators. Now it hooks up great on the track. It also will do wheelies on dry pavement which is hilarious.
