Sometimes just turning clockwise while pulling will get it to come out sometimes is a twisting clockwise and counterclockwise plus pulling and wiggling. It’s not an easy push/pull thing. After getting the FCU back in the hand grip module, I installed the slide and couldn't get the take-down lever in. I could not get the slide back off either.
