Is the moonveil katana still good.

It's busted, the damage it deals and how fast it is for only 20 FP, all other sorcery is downright useless not to mention slow. With moonveil even if you run out of FP you're still in the game because you can powerstance it with another katana that does bleed. Oh yeah, haven't mentioned bleed. It's a katana found in Gael Tunnel in northwestern Caelid. Available from pretty early in the game. It scales with Dex and Int and has a VERY powerful weapon art. It's basically Unsheath (from the Uchigatana), but with added energy beams. The heavy version of this can stagger most enemies in one hit, and most bosses in as few as 3 hits. The posture damage is reduced (seems about the level of Unsheathe now, which is still very good) and the recovery on the R2 version of the weapon art is longer, but not punishingly so. Update: Comparing to Unsheathe, I don't really notice much or any difference in the recovery time, so the slower recovery thing might be a red herring.Is the Moonveil Katana still good? Scizzoman. • 2 yr. ago. It's a DEX/INT weapon, if you're pure DEX you probably shouldn't bother with it. If you're DEX/INT it's basically broken though. High damage, high bleed, and its unique skill is a better version of Unsheathe that shoots projectiles stronger than most actual sorceries.
