Getting back into manga in Aug 21' I tracked down published series I've read as a teen via scans and have no guilt of how fast my collection grew because I've read them all. Newer series I would like to read is a bit difficult to read right away because there are gaps in earlier volumes. Thought I share my collection with a rule I set for myself, only collect the 1st volume of manga series. Luckily the nearby Barnes and Noble’s and books A Million near me stock up on some of the uncommon ones. Of course, there’s some I had to go back multiple times for the past year to see if they restocked them. 0.Definitely useful, before this was a thing, I accidentally bought some not appropriate manga at 15 while having no idea what was inside it. However, it is a bit of an eyesore.Viz tends to have cheaper productions (especially from the shonen jump and shojo beat lines), but in my experience the cheapness shows In the lack of extras like colour pages÷ more than quality control. A lot of collectors do show traits of problems: FOMO, not working to budgets, not accomodating for space and practicality in their collections.
